“Hey y’all, watch this!”

Catfish noodling, for those of you who are city bred, is a sport, where grown men with mullets and a belly full of Bud wade into murky, snake infested water and reach around inside nooks and crannies looking for catfish. When they get one by the mouth they pull it out, where it is weighed and he is pounded on the back and given another Bud.

The risk is they’ll inadvertantly noodle a water moccasin, or they’ll get their fish but it’ll be a 60 pounder and pull them under. It’s why one never noodles alone.
